Resuming September

WE'RE KEEPING THE SUMMER HOT WITH UNDERGROUND SESSIONS, our monthly night of creativity and community, on Wednesday 5 August, with this month's featured artist: Anniki Hill!

Annikki is a Caymanian creative and published author whose work is rooted in the stories, landscapes, and spirit of the Cayman Islands. While she has expressed herself through many mediums, poetry has always been her truest creative language. Her poems are experiences that explore identity, resilience, belonging, memory, and the enduring relationship between people and place, as part of her commitment to preserving and sharing Caymanian culture, both past and present.

We've also got AfroShak back on co-hosting dutires, and a couple of other special guests you don't want to miss!

And don't forget, the mic and floor are open, so if you're an artist or performer with something you want to express, or if you just like good music, creativity, and good vibes, this is the night for you!

Doors open at 7PM and the vibes don't stop until 10. Admission is free! Drinks and refreshments will be on sale, but it's card payments only.

All performers and spectators welcome! DM me for more info, or just show up ready to do your thing. But spaces are limited, so get there early if you want to get on stage!

Hold on to your hats (and your broomsticks) things are about to get wildly windy!

Join the witch, her increasingly crowded broom, and a very brave bunch of animal passengers in this hilarious stage adventure of Room on the Broom, specially made for children aged 2–8 and their grown-ups who still enjoy a good spell of silliness.

Directed by Emily Harris, this joyful production mixes live music, physical comedy, puppetry, and a sprinkle of theatrical chaos to bring this beloved children's story to life.

It’s a magical, laugh-out-loud journey about friendship, teamwork, and learning that sometimes there’s always room for one more (even if the cat strongly disagrees).

Performance dates:

  • Friday 28th August @ 7pm
  • Saturday 29th August @ 10am / 1pm / 4pm
  • Sunday 30th August @ 10am / 1pm / 4pm
  • Friday 4th September @ 7pm
  • Saturday 5th September @ 10am / 1pm / 4pm

Do  you require an ASL interpreted performance, or a relaxed performance where high sensory moments regarding lights and sound are muted, and house lights are kept on low for a less stimulating/triggering environment? Relaxed performances allow more people to enjoy CDS productions, and is open to all whether or not you need the accommodations.
